Egyptian real estate developer Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) held its first employment forum on Saturday, Nov. 4. 2023, for residents of its housing projects, at the Madinaty Sports Club, Invest-Gate reports.

The job fair is the first by an Egyptian developer for its projects’ residents. Over 2,000 young people registered after promotions on Talaat Moustafa’s social media.

The event aims to provide job opportunities, reduce unemployment, and offering entrepreneurship lectures to encourage youth startups.

Hundreds of finance, marketing, facilities management, and other openings were presented. Officials also gave talks on entrepreneurship, marketing, time management, and other topics.

Mohamed Fouda, HR Development Director at TMG, said the fair’s goal is to connect clients to openings at the group’s projects to cut unemployment and build customer loyalty. A large number apply online, and the HR department will review CVs for suitable candidates.

Fouda added the strong turnout proves the forum succeeded in enhancing ties and fulfilling the group’s mission of integrated communities with full services, including jobs. Talaat Mustafa’s projects provide over 15,000 opportunities.

Sherif Hammad, Former Minister of Scientific Research, and a speaker in the event praised the forum for creating openings and integrating residents with project jobs. He lauded Talaat Moustafa for extending its role beyond sales to employ youth.

On the other hand, attendee Farah Ahmed Kamal learned of the fair via Madinaty’s social media and attended to register for sales roles fitting her studies. Yasmine Yasser applied immediately online for nearby Madinaty jobs.

The job forum demonstrates Talaat Moustafa’s social responsibility efforts to support youth education through schools, technical training partnerships, summer internships, and graduate employment.
