“Tameer” Announces Strategic Partnership with “The GrEEK Campus” for “URBAN BUSINESS LANE” Project

In a move that reflects its ongoing commitment to partnering with leading innovators, “Tameer” for Engineering Consultancy has announced a strategic collaboration with The GrEEK Campus to introduce a new model of branded business partnerships in the Middle East. The partnership will launch a fully equipped co-working space and flexible offices within Tameer’s flagship project, URBAN BUSINESS LANE (UBL), in New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

Over its long history, Tameer has delivered a series of landmark developments that helped shape Egypt’s modern urban landscape, including Maadi Degla, Masaken Sheraton, Maryland Housing, and major hospitality projects such as Le Méridien Cairo Airport, Palestine Hotel Alexandria, and Mövenpick Aswan. The company’s recent projects — Azad, Azad Views, and UBL — form part of its larger master development, Urban Walk, spanning over 500,000 sqm next to the American University in 5th settlement (AUC). Designed by top international consultants from France, the UK, and Lebanon, Urban Walk is envisioned to become the new downtown of New Cairo, offering a vibrant, mixed-use urban experience.

Mr. Saad Al-Wazzan, Chairman of Tameer, said: “We are proud that The GrEEK Campus’ first presence in East Cairo will be through the URBAN BUSINESS LANE project, which we consider an extension of our philosophy to create integrated business communities that enhance the work experience and open new horizons for companies and entrepreneurs. This partnership marks an important step toward offering a non-traditional workspace model that combines nature and flexibility.”

Mr. Waly Dolaty, Vice Chairman of Tameer, explained that UBL is located within Urban Walk, a dynamic mixed-use destination featuring integrated facilities and overlooking a central park. “The project was designed to make New Cairo a lively and connected business hub, with a distinctive identity that combines fluidity and modern design,” he noted. Strategically positioned between New Cairo and the New Capital, the project benefits from proximity to AUC, Azad, Cairo International Airport, and key highways, making it ideal for business accessibility.

Dolaty added that UBL targets a diverse business community — from large corporations to startups — with flexible office spaces starting at 63 sqm, complemented by shared lounges, meeting rooms, and communal kitchens. The project also offers restaurants, cafés, and landscaped open spaces spanning 60,000 sqm, equivalent to six football fields, creating an inspiring environment for productivity and collaboration.

Mr. Mohamed Nagi, CEO of WRK+, the parent company of The GrEEK Campus and MQR, said: “The partnership with Tameer is a natural step in our expansion journey, aimed at developing workspaces that foster innovation and support the growth of companies. This collaboration aligns with our strategy to design new environments that promote creativity, interaction, and entrepreneurship.”

Founded in 2013, The GrEEK Campus has established itself as a leading innovation hub, managing over 45,000 sqm of workspace across its Downtown and West Cairo locations, home to more than 250 companies across various industries. It also hosts major entrepreneurship events and conferences annually.

Nagi concluded: “Our collaboration with Tameer will help us reach new communities across Egypt through developing modern, integrated workspaces that blend work, learning, innovation, and community — shaping the future of work in Egypt and the region.”
