The elections of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Development Chamber of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) resulted in the selection of Eng. Tarek Shoukry, Founder of Arabia Developments, as Chairman of the Chamber, as part of the newly formed board, Invest-Gate reports.
In the same context, Eng. Amr Soliman, Founder and Chairman of Mountain View, and Eng. Mohamed El-Manshawy, Chairman of Misr Al-Gadida for Housing and Development Company, were elected as Vice Chairmen of the Board.
The Chamber’s Executive Bureau also includes Eng. Omar Hisham Talaat Moustafa, Chief Business Development Officer at Talaat Moustafa Group Holding, and Eng. Ahmed Amin Massoud, CEO of Al Ashraaf Developments, who were appointed as Secretaries of the Chamber.
Meanwhile, Eng. Amgad Hassanein, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Housing and Development Properties (HDP), was selected as the Real Estate Development Chamber’s representative on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Egyptian Industries.
This new board formation comes at a critical time for Egypt’s real estate development sector amid ongoing economic challenges. The newly elected council is expected to play a key role in supporting national industry priorities, enhancing competitiveness, and strengthening coordination with government entities to drive sector growth and achieve long-term sustainability.
The supervisory committee overseeing the FEI elections had previously announced the unopposed election of 12 candidates to the Chamber’s Board of Directors for the 2025–2029 term, following elections held on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.
The General Assembly of the Real Estate Development Chamber comprises 240 members, representing more than 15,000 real estate developers and 22 smart cities accommodating approximately 32mn residents. According to the FEI law and its executive regulations, real estate development companies are classified into three categories: large, medium, and small enterprises.
A total of 12 candidates—four from each category—ran for election and all secured their seats unopposed.
The large enterprises category includes Eng. Tarek Shoukry, Eng. Amr Soliman, Eng. Amgad Hassanein, and Eng. Ashraf El-Hefnawy, while the medium enterprises category includes Ms. Amal Abdel Wahed, Eng. Mohamed El-Bostany, Mr. Omar El-Tayebi, and Eng. Ahmed Amin Massoud. The small enterprises category includes Mr. Hany El-Assal, Mr. Wael Ramadan, Eng. Amr Diab, and Eng. Mohamed Taher.
