Tatweer Misr has signed a strategic partnership with global elevator manufacturer OTIS to supply and install 1,250 smart vertical mobility units across its developments over the next six years, Invest-Gate reports.

The move aligns with the company’s vision to improve the quality of life in its communities through innovation-driven solutions.

Ahmed Shalaby, Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Tatweer Misr, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to building smart, sustainable communities. “Innovation is the core of every decision we make—from planning and design to implementation. Our collaboration with OTIS brings cutting-edge mobility solutions that enhance both operational efficiency and the daily experience of our residents,” he said.

Baher Ayoub, Senior Vice President, CEO Projects and Board Member of Tatweer Misr, added that the partnership supports faster project delivery while ensuring the highest levels of safety. “The advanced mobility solutions from OTIS integrate with our execution philosophy and construction standards,” he noted.

Joao Penedo, Senior Vice President of OTIS for Iberia, Africa, and the Middle East, said the agreement represents one of OTIS’ largest regional contracts. “We’re proud to support Egypt’s growth and share Tatweer Misr’s vision for future cities,” he said, describing the partnership as a new success story for both companies.

Tatweer Misr will integrate OTIS Gen2® elevators—known for energy efficiency and space-saving design—across its six flagship developments, including IL Monte Galala, Fouka Bay, D-Bay, Salt, Bloomfields, and Rivers.
