The Egyptian developer, Tatweer Misr, has joined forces with Al Orman NGO and Ahl Masr Foundation to fight the Coronavirus aftermath on villages in Upper Egypt.

Under Tatweer Misr CSR campaign “Benebny Hayah – Building Life’’, the developer has signed a collaboration protocol with Al Orman NGO to provide for the reconstruction and utilities installation in Kafr Abdel Khalek village in Minya and to prevent the spread of the virus. By holding construction works, Tatweer Misr is able to supply houses in the village with waters systems as well as electricity enabling them to abide by the WHO’s safety measures of staying home, maintaining social distancing and washing hands regularly. Moreover, the company is supporting families, who lived off daily income by providing families of the village with food products this Ramadan.

By partnering with Al Masr Foundation among others, Tatweer Misr is supporting and empowering the healthcare system manifested in governmental and educational hospitals to fight the coronavirus to provide them with medical supplies and equipment such as ventilators, monitors, syringe pumps and PPEs for the safety of doctors and nurses.
“The coronavirus outbreak is first and foremost a human tragedy, affecting thousands of people. However, the company has a strong dedication towards its employees, clients and community. For this reason, several efforts have been taken to keep them safe yet, without discontinuing business activities that will reflect on the Egyptian economy,” the statements reads. Tatweer Misr is keen on promoting precautionary measures against COVID-19 among the residents. The company also supports daily workers, who lost their jobs amid the pandemic outbreak. Ahmed Shalaby, CEO of Tatweer Misr, asserts the role of the company to enhance the state’s capabilities in the fight against the recent outbreak of coronavirus.
