Telecom Egypt (We) has signed a cooperation protocol with cred Developments today to deliver integrated communications services and smart city solutions in cred’s real estate projects, Invest-Gate reports.

The protocol was signed by Mohamed Abo Taleb, Executive Vice President for Commercial Affairs at Telecom Egypt, and Ahmed Mansour, CEO of cred.

Under this protocol, Telecom Egypt will undertake all technological infrastructure works for cred’s projects. This includes extending fiber optic networks to provide high-speed internet and voice services to residential, administrative, and commercial units in accordance with the latest advanced communications technologies (FTTH).

The aim is to make a wide range of integrated communications services available, including landline telephone services, high-speed internet, IPTV, and other smart city services such as surveillance cameras and smart gates.

Abo Taleb stated, “Telecom Egypt enjoys great confidence among major real estate development companies, making it the technology partner for over 90% of significant real estate projects in Egypt.
