The Administrative Capital for Urban Development signs Land Agreement for New Headquarters for the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in the diplomatic district

The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has signed a land sale agreement with the Embassy of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Cairo for a 5,000 sqm plot in the Diplomatic District of the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.

The land will house the new embassy headquarters and the ambassador’s residence. The agreement was signed by Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of ACUD, and Ambassador Albert Doli, the Ivorian Ambassador to Egypt, in the presence of officials from both sides.

Ambassador Albert Doli expressed his enthusiasm, stating:
“We are delighted to establish our presence in the New Administrative Capital.”

This move aligns with the directives of President Alassane Ouattara and reflects the strong ties between our two nations. We appreciate ACUD’s efforts in facilitating this agreement.

He also highlighted the advantages of the New Administrative Capital, adding:
“This city represents a major leap in urban development, with advanced infrastructure, modern transport networks, and green spaces that enhance the quality of life. The Diplomatic District offers an exceptional environment tailored to the needs of embassies, making it an ideal location for our new headquarters.”

Eng. Khaled Abbas welcomed the embassy’s relocation, commenting:
“We are pleased to sign this agreement, further strengthening the Diplomatic District as a prime hub for embassies.

The demand for relocations to the New Administrative Capital continues to grow, and we are committed to developing one of the most advanced diplomatic zones in the world.”

As a key part of the first phase of the New Administrative Capital, the Diplomatic District is designed to accommodate foreign embassies and diplomatic missions currently based in Cairo. The transition of embassies to this district is part of Egypt’s broader vision to enhance diplomatic infrastructure and streamline operations.

This agreement with the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire follows a series of similar deals, including one with the Embassy of Algeria, reinforcing the New Administrative Capital’s position as Egypt’s future diplomatic and administrative hub.
