The Lounge, Burj Khalifa Sets New Guinness World Record

The Lounge, Burj Khalifa has officially been verified by Guinness World Records (GWR) as the world’s “Highest Lounge in a Building,” Invest-Gate reports.

Spanning levels 152, 153, and 154, at a height of 585.36 meters, The Lounge, Burj Khalifa offers an exclusive retreat experience, towering high at over half a kilometer, according to a press release on September 18.

The GWR record certificate was handed over by Shaifali Mishra, an official adjudicator at GWR, to Ahmad Al Falasi, executive director of Group Operations at Emaar Properties, the statement added.

Previously, Burj Khalifa secured other honors such as the GWR titles for the “Tallest Building” in the world, “Tallest Man-Made Structure on Land,” the “Highest Outdoor Observation Deck” for At the Top, Burj Khalifa Sky, the “Largest Light and Sound Show on a Single Building,” the “Largest LED-Illuminated Façade,” and the “Tallest LED-Illuminated Façade.”

Opened last February, The Lounge, Burj Khalifa, which has an outdoor terrace, serves a fascinating selection of beverages and canapes, while featuring live music daily and hosting international artists and performers.

Visitors can take in magnificent views of the city while indulging High Tea from 12:30 pm to 4 pm, sundowner time from 5:30 pm to 7 pm with cocktails and canapes, and then they can move to an evening cocktail setting from 7:30 pm to midnight.
