Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, follows up on the implementation works in the New Warraq City development project, which aims to establish a new urban community on the lands of Warraq Island, affiliated to the New Urban Communities Authority NUCA, in the presence of Ministry and Authority officials, Invest- Gate reports.

During the meeting, Osama Shawky, head of the New Warraq City Development Authority, explains the executive position of the alternative housing units for original residents, where 18 residential towers are being implemented, as well as, the finishing works in a number of towers. .

In this regard, El-Gazzar directs to speed up the development of the project in order to raise to an urban  civilized form. It is worth mentioning that the New Warraq City is one of the fourth-generation cities that are being implemented as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Housing to implement the outputs of the National Strategic Plan for Urban Development in Egypt 2052.
