TLD-The Land Developers, a prominent real estate development company, participated for the first time in the Al-Ahram Real Estate Conference in Cairo on May 2, 2023, Invest-Gate reports.

The conference is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly under the title “Real Estate and Sustainable Development, Innovative Solutions … for Efficient Management”.

The event was attended by a large number of government officials, businessmen, and real estate agencies.

During the conference’s first session, Omar El-Tayebi, Vice Chairman of TLD-The Land Developers, addresses the challenges facing the real estate market, including the impact of interest rate changes on land prices and financing costs, as well as the high prices of construction materials and their impact on project implementation.

El-Tayebi emphasizes the need for rapid and extended implementation solutions that support and strengthen the real estate sector, including mechanisms to compensate for financing gaps and incentive mechanisms for the future sustainability of developers and the government.

He also notes that the real estate sector is a safe haven for investment and one of the main pillars for advancing the growth of the Egyptian economy, constituting 85% of the investment opportunities in the country.

With a market value of $4 billion, TLD-The Land Developers serves more than 5,000 customers.
