A report issued by W Capital, Dubai’s leading brokerage, reveals that British investors have been the most active in purchasing Dubai real estate during the first half of 2024, Invest-Gate reports.

The real estate sector remains robust and lucrative, offering attractive investment opportunities and high returns.

W Capital states that the list of top nationalities in terms of real estate purchases also includes Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Canadians, French, Italians, Dutch, Pakistanis, and Turks.

The report affirms that Dubai possesses several advantages that solidify its position as one of the world’s most prominent real estate destinations for investment, work, and tourism. The emirate’s relatively high rental prices, easy access to real estate financing, and the simplicity of obtaining residency visas incentivize well-off residents and foreigners to opt for property ownership instead of renting.

W Capital anticipates that the real estate market will continue to perform strongly, capitalizing on Dubai’s global leadership. The brokerage expects sales this year to range between AED 450 bn and 500 bn.

“New buyers of Dubai real estate have recognized that Dubai is an extremely attractive center for living, working, and investing in numerous opportunities,” stated Walid Al Zarouni, CEO of W Capital. Al-Zarouni further highlights the strong commercial partnerships that unite many of the investing nationalities with the UAE, making Dubai a reliable destination.

“The high standards of living and job opportunities in Dubai are significant factors for certain nationalities, particularly those from Asia and the Middle East,” he added.
