Under the Federation’s bylaws, real estate development companies are classified into three categories—large, medium, and small—each electing four representatives. The Ministry of Industry will appoint three additional members to complete the Board’s legal formation before internal elections are held to select the Chairperson, deputies, and executive committee.
A total of twelve candidates submitted their nominations, four for each category, securing their seats unopposed. The large enterprises category includes Eng. Tarek Shoukry from Arabiya for Developments, Eng. Amr Soliman from Mountain View, Eng. Amgad Hassanein from Housing & Development Properties, and Eng. Ashraf El Hefnawy from El Hefnawy Contracting. The medium enterprises category features Mr. Amal Abdel Wahid from New Cairo for Buildings, Eng. Mohamed El-Bostany from El-Bostany developments, Mr. Omar El-Tayebi from El-Tayebi Company, and Eng. Ahmed Amin Massoud from Memar Al Ashraaf. Meanwhile, the small enterprises category includes Mr. Hany El-Assal from Business Integrated Solutions, Mr. Wael Ramadan from Centro, Eng. He added that the Chamber’s focus in the upcoming term will be to enhance regulatory frameworks for the industry and work toward establishing a unified Real Estate Developers Union.
