UAE Carries Out Infrastructure Projects worth AED 235 mn

The United Arab Emirates will carry out infrastructure projects worth AED 235 mn across the country, Invest-Gate reports.

The Dubai Executive Council will take charge of the project, which includes developing Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road in Abu Dhabi. The AED 109 mn road spans from the Falah intersection to Qasr Al Bahr intersection.

Other construction works include developing a Sheikh Zayed tunnel that will improve the performance of intersections, facilitate traffic, and increase road network efficiency, according to a released statement.

The council also approves developing an electricity distribution network in Abu Dhabi’s Ghayathi and Jebel Dhanna at a total cost of AED 41.5 mn.

This project will also install electric cables spanning 89 kilometers to restore sustainable power efficiency for homes located in Ghayathi and Jebel Dhanna, Abu Dhabi.
