UAE Starts Infrastructure Work at RAK Project

The Emirati Ministry of Infrastructure Development begins executing the project of internal roads at the Bateen Al Samar Residential Complex in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah, Invest-Gate reports.
Its estimated cost is AED 26 mn and it is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
Engineer Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director of the Roads Department in the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, says that the project will be lit with solar-powered lights, thus contributing to decreasing the percentage of carbon emissions, the environmental impact on the region and the maintenance cost.
He points out that the project will be executed according to the highest specifications by relying on several intersections and traffic signals.
He adds that the ministry will execute the infrastructure projects, according to the system of sustainability and green buildings, in accordance with the developmental system of the country, its community, economic and environment standards.
