UAE-based Al Habtoor Group has purchased two office buildings in Hugary in efforts to consolidate its presence in the country, Gulf Business reported.
The office buildings are located in the Dorottya Udvar area of Budapest, which used to be a financial and commercial district that was turned in to an office complex.
The company also owns Ritz Carlton and Intercontinental hotels in Budapest, according to Gulf News.
Al Habtoor has also purchased several other building in Europe, including the Hilton London Wembley, and the Hotel Imperial in Vienna, as well as a Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in Springfield, Illinois and two hotels in Lebanon.
The conglomerate had a plan to invest AED 2 billion in the hospitality sector in 2016.
