The total value of UAE’s top 10 landscaping projects exceeds USD 5.8 billion, the organizer of the upcoming Urban Design & Landscaping Expo event, Middle East’s only dedicated trade fair for urban, green and open spaces, said.

The world’s tallest building 828-meter Burj Khalifa, the world’s largest indoor theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure, and the world’s biggest shopping mall Dubai Mall top UAE’s list of 10 major landscaping projects.

Three new theme parks are currently under development among the top landscaping projects, reinforcing UAE’s position as an attractive destination for recreational tourism.

Dubai is currently developing USD-490-mn Wonderland Park Development, expected to be completed by 2019. The project includes the construction of amusement parks, shops, restaurants apartments and a cultural center.

The city is also developing a USD-1-bn World Legends Theme Park, the world’s largest theme park, to be completed by the end of 2020, according to the Major UAE Landscaping Projects 2018 BNC Report published by the Urban Design & Landscaping Expo.

The park will have nine zones with various rides, complemented by 9,700 square meter of food and beverage options and 9,500 square meter of retail space, all set within a temperature-controlled environment.

The Urban Design & Landscaping Expo will run from November 26 to 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring an advanced Urban Design & Landscaping Summit.

Co-located with The Big 5, Middle East’s biggest construction exhibition, the fair will provide a platform for providers of products, services and solutions for the outdoor design to meet the region’s booming urban design and landscaping needs.
