Uptown 6 October Reveals Plans for the Largest Commercial Hub in New 6th of October City

Uptown 6 October, in the launch of its flagship commercial project, has announced the development of 16 commercial and administrative land plots out of the 24 plots allocated to the company by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Invest-Gate reports.

These plots cover a total built-up area of 70,000 sqm in the Uptown district of New 6th of October City, as part of the company’s expansion and development plans following the approval of the allocation by the authority.

Ahmed Abozaid, Chairman of Uptown 6 October, stated that these plots are integral to the company’s project aimed at enhancing services and developing the Uptown district in New 6th of October City, thereby accelerating urbanization in the city. He highlighted that the commercial and administrative center is situated on North 90th Street, boasting a 320-m frontage and located only 2 km away from the main monorail station. This strategic location positions the center as a significant hub within the city.

Abozaid further added, “The company intends to utilize these plots, covering a total built-up area of 70,000 sqm, to establish and construct one of the largest commercial and administrative centers in New 6th of October City.” He expects this new center to play a pivotal role in supporting Uptown 6 October district projects, thereby contributing to the development of the promising New 6th of October City, which spans 70,000 feddans.

Abozaid emphasized the company’s pride in the confidence bestowed upon them by the NUCA through the allocation of these lands. He pledged to transform them into vital hubs that enhance development and living standards in this emerging city. New 6th of October City is one of the fourth-generation cities that the state is propelling towards the future.

Abozaid highlighted that the establishment of this project reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing essential service projects that support urban and economic development in the region. It also underscores their determination to continue their distinguished work in the real estate and urban development sectors.

Regarding the projected workforce for the mall project, Abozaid noted that the total number of job opportunities for the construction and operation of the project will reach 8,000. This includes 3,000 permanent direct and indirect jobs, as well as 5,000 construction workers.
