Uptown 6th of October kicks start construction work at Benaa Mall for building materials and supplies, with EGP 300 mn in investments, Invest-Gate reports.

The mall will be located on the main 90th Street and the 6th of October city’s entertainment and service axis, just 1.2 km away from Al Wahat Road, making it easily accessible to customers and enabling fast delivery.

The mall will provide everything related to building and finishing materials in one place, meeting the requirements of individuals and contracting companies in Uptown and New October in general.

Chairman of Uptown 6th of October city, Ahmed Abu Zaid, states: “Banaa Mall will be implemented in two phases and consist of five floors, with the two basement floors serving as a garage for cars and stores for companies, and the goods displayed in the inner part of the mall.”

The mall will include 70 stores, 20 offices, a reception area, a chapel, administrative offices, an engineering office for interior designs, shops connected to warehouses, an area for restaurants and cafes, rooms for security staff, and a car garage.

The management of the mall is assigned to UK’s Facilify company for the lease of units at the mall and collection of rents.

Furthermore, Uptown 6th of October is planning to launch an online store for building and finishing materials, with Q-Commerce express delivery service within 30 minutes as another selling channel.

The new project will enable customers to use all electronic payment methods and payment upon receipt for building materials and finishing on credit for periods of up to 36 months at zero interest.
