URD Developments Unveils “Ladera Red Sea” as a New Coastal Landmark in Ras Sedr

URD – United Real Estate Developments has announced the official launch of its latest coastal project, “Ladera Red Sea”, a 114-acre destination in Ras Sedr overlooking the Red Sea. With its distinctive architectural character and prime waterfront location, the project is positioned to become one of Egypt’s most promising emerging coastal communities.

Mohamed Hafez El-Zaabalawi, Chairman of URD Developments, stated that the unveiling of “Ladera Red Sea” comes in tandem with the strong urban and tourism momentum along the Red Sea coastline, which has become one of the most attractive markets for buyers over the past two years. He noted that the region’s investment value continues to rise, especially following the recent Alam Al-Roum development deal.

He added that Ras Sedr has rapidly evolved into one of Egypt’s most promising coastal cities, attributed to its proximity to Cairo and the significant upgrades to its road network and infrastructure. This has made it the fastest-growing coastal destination after Ain Sokhna and the Red Sea region, with increasing demand for both vacation homes and long-term investment options.

El-Zaabalawi explained that “Ladera Red Sea” is designed around a forward-looking development vision aimed at maximizing the project’s waterfront potential. All units feature sea views, while the overall master plan delivers a premium residential and tourism product tailored for clients seeking privacy, serenity, and strong investment returns.

He emphasized that the project represents a significant addition to URD’s expanding portfolio and reflects the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality developments with distinctive architectural identity. The project adopts a sustainability-focused approach designed to enhance long-term value, aligning with the company’s strategy to meet evolving client needs.

Mostafa Mohamed Hafez El-Zaabalawi, CEO of URD Developments, highlighted that the rising demand for Red Sea destinations will position Ras Sedr as a major growth hub in the coming period. He noted that clients are increasingly seeking coastal destinations near Cairo that offer competitive pricing, strengthening the strategic importance of the project within URD’s expansion plans.

He pointed out that the project’s master plan was developed in collaboration with Azure Planning & Architecture, headed by Eng. Omar Aqeel and Eng. Islam Nabil. Their design philosophy played a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive master plan that optimizes sea views and capitalizes on the site’s natural elevations.

El-Zaabalawi added that the architectural design adopts a terraced concept that ensures uninterrupted panoramic sea views from every unit while utilizing the natural terrain to enhance privacy and elevate the overall visual experience.

“Ladera Red Sea” offers a wide variety of units with direct sea or lagoon views, including hotel apartments, studios, chalets, cabins, and villas. It also introduces a signature beach zone, “La Vera Beach”, designed to offer residents and visitors a fully integrated leisure and relaxation experience. The project is scheduled for delivery within four years.

The launch ceremony reflected the scale of the project, featuring performances by Ramy Sabry and Ruby, and was attended by a host of celebrities and public figures, including actors Karim Afifi and Sedky Sakhr, as well as TV presenter Farah Ali.
