US companies plan to pump investments in Egypt and make use of the US aid package to the country to attract more private sector participation in sustainable development, Invest-Gate reports.

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr makes such remarks during a live television interview US news business channel Fox Business.

Nasr says that the two countries are “strategic partners” and have common development goals and interests.

The statements came following a meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and US President Donald Trump.
