Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar said that the most distinguished, social housing, and Bayt El Watan projects in New Obour City will see utilities installed, Invest-Gate reports.

Head of New Obour City Development Authority Wael Samir highlighted that the ministry gave its directives for companies to take all precautionary measures needed to safeguard the workers amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

The ministry further instructed the necessity of maintaining the workflow as regularly as possible in the various sectors under development in the new cities.

Samir added that the asphalt road layer has been initiated in areas where telephones, gas, and electricity facilities have been finalized in social housing buildings.

In mid-March,  the authority announced the delivery of land plots in the most distinguished, social housing, and Beit Al Watan projects.

El Gazzar stated in February that 816 residential units, or 34 buildings, have been implemented in the JANNA luxury housing project in Obour City.
