VALO Hospitality inks agreement with Qatar’s Retaj Hotels & Hospitality to operate RETAJ VALO Hotel at Solara project

VALO Hospitality, a subsidiary of MG Developments, has entered into a strategic partnership with Retaj Hotels & Hospitality to operate and manage the RETAJ VALO Hotel, a flagship hospitality component of the Solara development in Ain Sokhna, Invest-Gate reports.

The agreement is designed to enhance occupancy rates, optimize investment returns, and further increase the value of the project’s hospitality units.

The partnership leverages Retaj Hotels’ extensive experience in hotel and resort management, backed by a proven track record and a strong footprint across the Gulf region. Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to deliver a world-class hospitality experience that meets international standards while reinforcing Solara’s position as a premier coastal destination.

Retaj Hotels & Hospitality expands its presence in Egypt through RETAJ VALO Hotel management

H.E. Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman of Retaj Group of Companies, said that the Qatari group’s entry into Egyptian market through the management of the RETAJ VALO Hotel at the Solara development marks a significant strategic milestone in its regional expansion plans.

He described Egypt as one of the region’s most promising markets for tourism, hospitality, and hotel investment, adding that the group views Egypt as a high-potential market with strong long-term growth fundamentals.

Al Thani noted that its partnership with VALO Hospitality reflects its confidence in the Solara development, given its prime location and fully integrated tourism and hospitality offerings.

He expressed confidence that the project is well positioned to become one of Ain Sokhna’s leading hospitality destinations.

Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani added that Retaj will leverage its extensive experience across Gulf markets to operate and manage the hotel under a professional hospitality model focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and higher occupancy rates.
He pointed out that this approach is designed to generate sustainable investment returns while enhancing the long-term value of the project’s hospitality units.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Motawa, Chairman of VALO Hospitality, said that the partnership with Retaj Hotels represents a key milestone in the company’s strategy to establish an integrated hospitality management platform across MG Developments’ projects.

He added that the company is committed to collaborating with regional operators that bring proven expertise and a strong track record in the hospitality sector.

He further noted that VALO Hospitality will deliver end-to-end hotel management services for the hospitality units at Solara, covering operations, reservations, sales and marketing, revenue management, and maintenance.

The integrated management model is designed to maximize asset performance, improve occupancy and operational efficiency, and transform the units into sustainable income-generating investments while preserving the project’s quality and long-term value.
