​VIE Communities, one of the promising real estate development companies in the Egyptian market, announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WE, the first integrated telecommunications and information technology operator in Egypt and the owner of the largest integrated telecom infrastructure, Invest-Gate reports.

This partnership aims to develop and implement the digital infrastructure and smart communication systems for all of the company’s projects, starting with the Vie Collective project in New Cairo—the company’s flagship project. This initiative supports its vision of delivering integrated urban communities that keep pace with future requirements.

​The MoU was signed by Dr. Haitham Samir, CEO of VIE Communities, and Mr. Mohamed ElTouny, Vice President and Chief Consumer Officer of Telecom Egypt.

​Developing an Integrated Digital Infrastructure for the Vie Collective Project

​Under this MoU, WE will undertake the development of an advanced telecommunications infrastructure within the Vie Collective project utilizing Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology.

This ensures the provision of ultra-fast internet services, alongside Triple Play services which encompass internet, fixed-line telephony, and IPTV digital television services. The partnership also includes offering a suite of sophisticated digital solutions, including Home Automation systems and Community Mobile Apps, in addition to integrating the latest smart technologies within the project. This will contribute to enhancing the customer experience and raising the efficiency of the provided services.
