Wadi Degla Developments launches Waterside, the third phase of its EGP 8 bn Murano resort in Ain Sokhna, Invest-Gate reports.

Located on Zaafarana Road, Murano spans 750 sqm along the Red Sea and is one of the closest resorts to Cairo.

“We’re excited to showcase the progress of Murano, with 600 fully-finished units delivered in the first phase and ongoing work in the second and third phases,” says Raymond Ahdy, Wadi Degla Developments Deputy CEO.

“Waterside introduces 115 to 260 square meter units including chalets, duplexes, and villas. This launch boosts our strategy to increase agility, performance, sustainability, and governance while meeting customer needs,” Ahdy adds.

Spanning 470,000 sqm, Murano offers sea views, and 2,320 units from 90 to 260 sqm including villas, duplexes and chalets, pools, a beach, a marina, and restaurants.

“Delivering the first phase with 600 homes and amenities proves our ability. Despite a halt to phase two, we obtained permits to resume, delivering some units this year and the rest in 2024,” Ahdy reveals.

Since launching, Murano has gained more amenities. In addition to hot springs and a prime location 30 minutes from the new capital and an hour from Cairo, recent infrastructure upgrades increase its investment potential.
