Water, Sewage Projects to be Implemented in Dakahlia

A total of 31 sewage and water projects will be developed in the governorate of Dakahlia at a cost of EGP 2.4 bn in addition to a number of social housing units, according to a statement by Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.

He added that 3,072 units will be built in the area of Gamasa as well as 476 units throughout Dakahlia.

The water projects include expanding the Met Fares water station at a cost of EGP 363 mn, expanding the Minyat El Nasr water station at a cost of EGP 320 mn, Meet Khamis water station at a cost of EGP 78 mn, and connecting the new social housing project in Gamasa to water networks at a cost of EGP 3.5 mn, set for completion this December.

The sewage projects include developing the sewage networks at Meet Ghamr, Kafr El Amir Abdullah, Kom El Noor station, and a sewage station at the social housing project in Gamasa which is also set for for completion in December.
