Dr. Mohamed Farouk, Chairman of WestWay Developments, has revealed plans for the company to inject investments totaling EGP 15 bn into the Egyptian market in 2025, focusing on embarking on several significant ventures in West Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
Farouk highlighted that WestWay emerged through the amalgamation of a consortium of prominent entities within the real estate sector. He emphasized that the shareholders possess over 30 years of collective experience in the industry.
The group structure encompasses DIG, holding a substantial project portfolio in East and West Cairo; Memaar Al Farouk, led by Dr. Mohamed Farouk, operating in West Cairo; and Diyar Hany Farrag, under the ownership of Engineer Hany Farrag.
Hussein Salah, WestWay Developments Vice Chairman, noted the company’s achievement of spearheading six diverse projects in West Cairo within a mere two years of its inception, encompassing activity diversity, unit variation, and strategic project placements.
The company inaugurated its initial medical endeavor, 360Health, in Old Zayed—a comprehensive medical complex lauded for its advantageous location, notably its high footfall and population density, essential for commercial and healthcare enterprises.
Subsequently, the company progressed to New Zayed City with the development of River Park 1 and River Park 2, expansive residential compounds spanning 15 acres each. Additionally, the Z4 project in Janna Zayed, covering 2,400 square meters, features an integrated mall.
Eng. Hany Farrag, a board member, outlined ongoing projects such as River Residence in October Gardens, positioned along the Italian neighborhood axis, boasting 21 residential buildings, verdant spaces, a social club, and designated children’s areas. The company is concurrently engaged in the Town Plaza project in New October.
Farrag disclosed plans for a forthcoming project in the heart of 6th of October City across a 15,000-sqm expanse, featuring a ground floor and three additional levels, envisioned to host diverse activities alongside hotel apartments.
Mohamed Fawzy, another board member, hinted at an upcoming development spanning 30,000 sqm directly located on Dahshur link, with ambitious intentions to craft an extensive project within the New Sphinx City across no less than 300 acres.
