Within the framework of supporting sports events and healthy lifestyle patterns, and alongside enhancing community participation, Q Developments is preparing to take part in the largest sports marathon within Cairo Governorate, in its capacity as the Title Partner of the event, with the marathon bearing this year the name Q Cairo Marathon, Invest-Gate reports.

Q Developments as Main Sponsor of Cairo’s Largest Marathon

The marathon activities will kick off with a series of preparatory events through a Pre-Event exhibition held over three days, on February 3, 4, and 5, aiming to prepare participants and introduce them to the details of the various races, in addition to interactive and sponsorship-related activities accompanying the event.
The main race day will take place on February 6, in the vicinity of Merryland Park in Heliopolis, with the participation of more than 5,000 runners from different ages and age groups, in a sports event considered the largest of its kind to be held in Cairo.

Preparatory activities and pre-event exhibition

The marathon includes several races suitable for different levels, namely:

• 21-kilometer race

• 10-kilometer race

• 5-kilometer race

• Family Run

The event is scheduled to witness the distribution of commemorative medals and cash prizes to the winners, in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting the spirit of challenge and positive competition, and affirming the importance of sport as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
