Work Starts at Villas District in New Administrative Capital

Construction works are starting at the site of the villas district as part of the residential community in the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.

The new district will comprise fully-furnished 328 villas and 157 townhouses. Establishment of the 17,000-square-meter residential project is in progress, in line with the implementation of roads, utilities and infrastructure, Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly says.  The ministry completed 70% of facilities in the government district and 60% in the residential development.

The cabinet awarded contracts worth EGP 4 bn to four contractors, providing facilities for 40,000 feddans in the New Administrative Capital.

The Orascom Construction-Hassan Allam alliance will be responsible for 740 feddans, while Holding Company For Construction & Development, Concorde Construction, and  Arab Contractors will provide facilities for 1,130, 710, and 550 feddans, respectively.
