Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, an affiliate to Accor Hotel’s chain, has teamed up with Saudi Arabian conglomerate Naif Alrajhi Investment Company to launch the world’s first standalone luxury long-stay property at Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences, Riyadh, Invest-Gate reports.
Scheduled to open in 2020 and offering easy access to King Khalid International Airport and King Abdullah Financial District, the project will be designed by Tokyo-based Nikken Sekkei, boasting 249 one-, two-, and three-bedroom serviced apartments. Four-bedroom penthouses will also be part of the residential mix, according to a press release on September 10.
Facilities, catering for both leisure and business travelers, will range between an all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge, an extensive food and beverage (F&B) plaza, with three specialty dining concepts setting foot in the Saudi market for the first time, Additionally, a dedicated cinema room, kids area, a health club including a sauna and multiple steam rooms for both men and women, tranquil pools located on the 35th floor, among other amenities are available on-site. On top of that, the mid-rise tower’s façade will be layered with paneling and a structured central pattern.
