Adel El-Naggar, Head of the 6th of October Development Authority, inspects works at the middle-income housing axis in the residential industrial area in the city, accompanied by authority officials.
The step falls in line with the government’s strategy to carry out its climate agenda and achieve sustainability.
The company is set to deliver projects in the two governorates in December 2022.
El-Gazzar reveals that CAR is executing projects in 25 cities in 10 governorates, covering over 740 villages and their surrounding areas, under the first phase of the Decent Life initiative.
Officials visit the project to complete 52 low-income housing buildings in Al-Andalous district in the 10th of Ramadan City and the middle-income housing project, Housing for All Egyptians, whose total value amounts to EGP 267 mn.
The project comprises completing 79 buildings at various heights, including 1,924 residential units and 18 commercial units, El-Gazzar notes.
Egypt works on intensifying its reform agenda and maintaining sustainable growth.
The projects include drinking water stations and networks, as well as pressure pipelines and wastewater treatment plants.
Madbouly notes that Egypt is lagging behind several countries in sales of property units, despite the big supply of high-quality properties, adding that they cannot be promoted as a source of free currency in the country.
Urbanization is based on two pillars, infrastructure and foundations of civil urbanization, El-Gazzar adds on the sidelines of the Economic Conference – Egypt 2022.
