The decree applies to the low-income mortgage initiative, the initiative supporting the tourism sector, the vehicles conversion initiative, the low- and middle-income mortgage initiative, and the modern irrigation methods initiative.
The government contributes EGP 331 bn to these projects' total investments, creating around 200,000 direct jobs.
Mostafa Harb, Head of the New Sohag Development Authority, notes that 42 buildings are under construction including 1,008 residential units and an area of 90 sqm per unit in the fifth phase of the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians for low-income citizens.
