Developer Overview
Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) develops, sells and leases properties in Egypt and has been an industry leader for almost twenty years and has expanded well past 6ht of October City in West Cairo to include developments in East Cairo as well as the North Coast . Listed on the Egyptian stock exchange, and operates in four key segments: residential, commercial, retail and hospitality. The company sits on an undeveloped landbank of 5.5 mn square meters, which it projects would produce sales of EGP 45-50 bn. The company divides its developments geographically by SODIC West and SODIC East. SODIC West includes Allegria, Westown, Forty West, The Polygon, Westown Hub, Beverly Hills, Casa, The Courtyard Westown, The Strip and Westown Medical Centre. Under the umbrella of SODIC East is Eastown, Eastown Parks, Kattameya Plaza and Villette New Cairo. SODIC also has a development along Egypt’s North Coast dubbed Caesar.
Development Overview
Allegria is SODIC’s flagship residential single family unit development, and was launched in 2008, with unit delivery starting in 2010, with all units set to be delivered by 2017. A total of 1,208 units have been delivered as of the end of the Q3 2016. Allegria spans 2.4 mn square meters and consists of villas and townhouses built at a development cost of EGP 2.6 bn. Allegria’s design was honored with an award of merit from the American Society of Landscape Architects to its New York-based design firm EDAW. Other awards include the 2013 Cityscape award for Best Residential Project among other awards from CNBC Arabia and Arabian Property Awards.

Allegria’s villas and townhouses surround an 18-hole Greg Norman golf course managed by leading golf management company Troon.
